I have been working with clay for about four years and enjoy making forms that are earthy and organic with unexpected splashes of color.
Desert sunsets, muddy creeks, and red rock canyons inspire me, and find their way into my my work.
Lately, I’ve been making lots of windchimes and bells. I love how they capture the forces of the wind and make music.
Although they look and sound delicate, these ceramic chimes and bells are strong and will withstand the outdoor elements. They will not shatter or break in the course of ordinary use, however, they will break if you drop them on a hard surface. Please hang them carefully, and away from walls and posts, so that they will not hit anything when they sway in the wind. I have personally tested my windchime and bell designs outdoors in all four seasons.
